For a quick look at the services offered in your state, take a look below:

  • California offers over-the-counter services at all branches plus the Carson City Nevada branch (open to Members only) and now offering Kiosks at the San Jose Almaden branch and San Jose Stevens Creek.
  • Nevada offers over-the-counter services at the Carson City location only and is open to members and non-members.  Kiosks are available at Lake Mead, Southwest Las Vegas (Durango), Green Valley, Las Vegas, Reno, Summerlin, Las Vegas Aliante & Las Vegas Rainbow.
  • Utah offers services at St. George, Ogden, SLC Foothill, Farmington for members and non-members.


Each state offers different DMV services and payment options, and services may also vary by branch within the state.  Please check the chart—and Terms and Conditions—below to see what services are available at AAA locations in your area. We encourage you to call ahead to the branch you intend on visiting to ensure the services you're looking for are available (via over-the-counter and/or kiosk).

 


 

Here's what you'll need so that you're ready for your DMV transactions at AAA:

  • Valid AAA Membership Card (California Only)
  • Valid driver’s license, government-issued ID or DMV ID card
  • For vehicle-specific transactions, your name must be on the vehicle title or registration and all parties involved must be AAA members
  • Your DMV paperwork
  • Your payment for DMV services—we accept most major credit cards, cash and checks (kiosks do not accept cash)

(1-CA) Service availability in Northern California: Over-the-counter service available to AAA Members only. Select branches have limited-service DMV-in-a-Box kiosks available for non-Member use (DMV charges a fee for kiosk services).
 
(2-NV) Service availability in Nevada: Available to AAA Members and non-Members. Select branches have limited-service DMV-in-a-Box kiosks available (DMV charges a fee for kiosk services). Carson City branch offers the most services within the state, and can process CA and NV DMV transactions. Drivers history print-out only available via kiosk.
 
(3-UT) Service availability varies in Utah: Please call your local branch. St. George, Foothill, Odgen & Farmington offer the most services. Over-the-counter service available to AAA Members and non-Members.
